Mr Malik Muhammad Asif in his opening address to the Slovak-Pakistani Business Forum in Lahore, which followed up on the forum that was held the previous day in Islamabad, the head of Slovak diplomacy accentuated the need for further surveying and developing mutual trade and investment opportunities.
“Our ministry will fully support this process under the active promotion of the economic dimension of diplomacy,” said Miroslav Lajcák, Honorable Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European affairs of the Slovak Republic. The forum resulted in signing a specific Slovak-Pakistani contract, and several agreements on representation of certain Slovak companies in Pakistan. The Punjab Province has a strong industrial and agricultural base and is one of the economically best-performing regions of the country
